OUR GOAL
IS TO BEAUTIFY THE TOWN
Hastings Beautification
Committee is currently working Brubaker Lane. Brubaker Lane is
a walking trail located at 5th Ave. to 7th Ave. (across from Hastings
Fire Hall). During the summer of 2002, Hastings Beautification
Committee purchased and had installed 6 lampposts along the trail.
This was able due to all the wonderful donations received everybody.
In early months of winter, some of the lights along the trail
were vandalized. These lights will be fixed/replaced hopefully
by early spring. Hastings Beautification Committees current goal
is to replace the bridge at 5th Ave. (across from Hastings Fire
Hall), with a new safer bridge. Hastings Beautification Committee
is in full charge of the walking trail from 5th Ave. to 7th Ave.
